Au début de chaque exercice de dictée mélodique, le logiciel fait entendre, tout en les montrant à l'écran, la série de notes sur laquelle va porter la dictée. Il procède ensuite à la dictée note à note : il joue une note puis attend votre réponse. Puisqu'avoir une bonne oreille est la capacité de [re]connaître les sons, le logiciel propose, en parallèle, une seconde activité appelée [Jeu de Mémoire Musicale].
